I'm a passionate student for creating meaningful change and bridging gaps in society. As the founder of Curia, my non-profit organization, I’ve worked on initiatives that focus on education, sustainability, and menstrual health. I am also deeply curious about the world around me, which is driving my interest in research. Ranging from educational disparities in India to learning about the role of renewable energy in sustainability and systemic inequality in land economics, I am committed to understanding and addressing root causes of societal challenges. With a strong belief in resilience and hard work, I aspire towards the pursuit of career where I can shape policies, create opportunities for those generally overlooked, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Education Programs: Digital learning centers, mentorship initiatives, and teacher training will be provided to improve education for the less privileged.
Health and Hygiene: Health camps, menstrual hygiene drives, and sanitation projects will be initiated in rural schools and communities.
Economic Empowerment: Programme for the development of skills and vocational training of women and young people.
Sustainability Initiatives: Organize tree plantation drives, waste management workshops, and renewable energy solutions in schools.
Infrastructure Development: Integration of class rooms, libraries, and shelters for rural schools.
Crisis Relief: Enhancement of emergency preparedness for immediate assistance during disasters.
What we have done till now At Curia, we strive to be contributory to changing the scenario through a community of care and support. Under our donation drive, we were able to effectively mobilise resources for uplifting the underprivileged communities with equal opportunities to all. Distributed books, stationery, and digital learning tools to underprivileged schools, which bridged the gap in access to education. Distributed medicines, sanitary necessities, and hygiene kits to marginalised families with special emphasis on women and children. Sustainability Initiatives: Clothing and reusable collection drive campaigns promoting resource responsibility and community welfare. Quick response to all emergencies, Providing food, water, and shelter materials during natural disasters and urgent need situations. Fundraising: Successfully led a crowdfunding campaign for building a canteen in a small rural village for a government school, through which children no longer have to bear the tests of rain or sun while eating, but they get a safe and comfortable space.
In furtherance of our company's mission to promote menstrual health and hygiene, Curia developed an AI-powered chatbot. It will provide continuous support and guidance using a combination of verified and peer-reviewed material that guarantees users, especially young girls, access to accurate, stigma-free knowledge about their menstrual health. The design of this chatbot is user-friendly and makes it accessible even to the least technology-knowledgeable users. Currently, the chatbot is on Curia's website and has already supported more than 100 girls in voicing their concerns and seeking reliable answers from behind the comfort of their homes. Next, we are working to enhance the bot further by including native languages such as Telugu, making sure that everyone can communicate in a seamless and inclusive manner. With this tool, Curia is fostering a safe and open space to break down the barriers of silence around menstruation.
